The vision

Hi friends,

So, as a teenager I have the innately programmed love of the internet and all it can provide that unites us all. I love social networking and am partial to the odd cat vine as much as the next girl. However, whilst navigating my way through our favourite and, let’s face it, essential resource I have realised what a dark place it can be. Squabbles in Youtube comments can so quickly escalate to an offensive onslaught on an complete stranger living on the other side of the planet. It seems crazy and can certainly provoke a serious ‘what-is-wrong-with-humanity moment’ but it’s quickly becoming normalised as trolls become a dominating presence in our culture. With the internet so steeped in hatred I begun to actively seek out a space on the web which was void of this cyber aggression.

Pretty soon I realised- why not use my love of writing to create my very own little pocket of the internet devoted to celebrating life? And so We Are Fearfully Made was born. It is created to be a safe place to explore faith and life. I hope you’ll share my journey as I explore what it means to be a 21^st century Christian teen and consider what it truly is to know that we are Fearfully and Wonderfully made.

Hi I’m Ella! 

I am a 19 year-old English and Drama student studying in Exeter, UK.

I drink too much tea, read loads, write even more and have a Taylor Swift lyric ready for any occasion. 

Above all else I am a follower of Jesus and live for Him.
